In March, only outdoor dining at the bar available. They had the tent around the outdoor bar and a few high tops available.
We arrived shortly before 6 on a Thursday, and happy hour ends at six. We were given a hard time about ordering two items from the happy hour menu. Again, we arrived before 6 and they claimed they weren’t sure if it would be possible since “it’s already 5:52 pm, so I’m not sure if you can.” If we were able to chat at the front about no indoor seating, and then be taken to a high top, wait for a server and menus, and then wait for the server to come back and take our order, we were clearly there BEFORE 6 pm. Anyway…
The food was meh. For me, at least. The two teen boys with me enjoyed their food. They said the steamed shrimp and bufflehead burger were great and the fish part of the fish and chips meal was good. The consensus of the fries was bleh. We got a hotdog (part of the happy hour) and it didn’t even come warm. Two of us each had one bite and decided it just wasn’t worth eating. I had chicken fingers and they were what you would expect as a frozen middle priced boxed generic brand chicken fingers that you can get from a big box store. Meh.
The atmosphere seemed very much like a place the locals go for a drink with friends. Felt like a very friendly and fun place to hangout and grab a drink.
I was not a fan of the pricing on my bill not matching exactly what the menu stated. I get that the price isn’t a large difference, but different is still different. Every single item ordered was a different price on the menu than what came on my bill. For me, that’s deceitful. You decide for yourself.
I would not rate this place a four, however I gave it a 4 since the majority of our group enjoyed it and the math calculated it was closer to a 4 than a 3. 🤷♀️

Great place to sit by the water and get some drinks and food. On a weeknight we got seated immediately at about 6 pm. Great view of all the boats coming through the inlet. Also great view of the sunset. Food and drink selections are good.
